As Stefanos tries to provide aid and shelter to those bereaved and made homeless by these events, finances are now limiting the level of support to be distributed. Stefanos estimate that £20 is enough to provide support for a widow for three months, or a child's school fees for three months. A business can be re-built for as little as £80, helping families to support themselves moving forward. A new micro-business start up grant of £60 is enough to help a Pastor in crisis to begin a means of self support.

Stefanos have designed emergency tents that can be used again and again in different locations as required. Each tent costs £300.

These are examples of how Stefanos is using gifts to enable traumatized individuals and families to recover from the life shattering experiences of the last few months. Please consider whether you could begin a standing order, however small, so that AST can provide regular, ongoing help to those in distress.

As with all AST projects, 100% of gifts received are used towards the named project - all administration costs are covered by our trustees.
